My Friend Lage

We meet the owl Lage who's leaving his home in the woods in the middle of the night to become a villager. Lage starts at the flight school, where he tries to teach others how easy it is to learn to fly, but his not that successful in his quest. Only Sara from the supermarket seems to learn how to fly. Sara flies out to the warm south and Lage takes over Sarah's job at the supermarket.
»In Woods and Fields « is based on the books »A Bird Day«, »I'm Running Away!« and »My Friend Lage« written and illustrated by Eva Lindström. The films recount the feeling of longing for something else. About running away from home to find your place in the world to be able to find your way home.
