Fins & Chrome in Havana

DK/Documentary

A Chevy '57 is slowly cruising the esplanade of Malecon. The world's biggest concentration of American cars from the forties and fifties is found in Cuba. The film delineates the most brilliantly colored and experimental period in the history of the automobile and tells how the pontoons from Detroit came to Havana and how they today, in spite of embargo and the lack of spare parts, the cars are still rolling.
