The film criticizes the fact that film, theatre and music in the capitalist society generally must function as OPIUM for the working class when they can be employed in a liberating and improving way. It contains interviews with the director M. Karmitz with clips from his film BATTLE FOR BATTLE, and also with Danish theatre people, musicians from the People's House in Nørrebro etc.
