The Pitt Rivers Museum, Oxford

DK/Documentary

The Pitt Rivers Museum, University of Oxford. Since 1885 more than one million objects from all over the world have been gathered here in one enormous room. They are organized in cross sections according to use, e.g. Armour, Jewellery, Magic, Baskets, Use of Birds, Treatment of the Dead. Instead of separating the times and places of human beings, this exhibition shows man's fellowship and common destiny.
