Filmed 1600 km down in the border area between Morocoo and Algeria where today the people of what was once known as Spanish Sahara live a miserable existence after Morocco and Mauretania annexed the area. At that time, its population had hopes of independence and since they have led a fierce struggle against the new rulers.
