A deaf painter is working on the roof of a skyscraper with a red dummy as onlooker. In front of the painter, there is the interminable metropolis, and he paints a tower. When the painting is finished and the painter leaves the roof, the city begins to melt away and only the tower remains. The painter recovers his hearing, but he loses his sense of sight. And the dummy - is no longer a dummy.
