Carl Bauder

Danish film producer (1882-1944), working in the difficult period of transition between silent and talking films. He started out as a stockbroker, and in the 1920s became interested in film. He bought the majority holding in the Danish film production company, Nordisk film, succeeding the founder Ole Olsen in 1926.
