Dr. Kathrine Railly bliver fascineret af dette eksempel på Kassandra-syndromet; miskendte dommedagsprofeter. Men så forsvinder patienten og dukker først op seks år senere. Nu er Kathrine ikke længere så sikker på, at han er gal.
