Forelskelse kan være et vendepunkt i tilværelsen for mange mennesker. Harry og Kate er to unge, sympatiske mennesker, som begge lider af skizofreni: de er begge under behandling for sindslidelsen. De forelsker sig og beslutter sig for at flytte sammen. De fleste protesterer, da de fortæller, at de ønsker at få et barn.
