Dokumentarfilm om en gruppe unge såkaldte øko-aktivister, der af idealistiske grunde begynder at udøve brandattentater mod forskellige firmaer. Aktivisterne mener, at firmaerne - ved at fælde træer og forstyrre økosystemer - ødelægger samfundet og Jorden for at få profit. Navnlig følger vi aktivisten Daniel McGowan fra gruppen "Earth Liberation Front", mens han venter på at blive dømt for sine handlinger.
