Mikael Christian Rieks
Producer. Født 6./9. 1969. Uddannet fra Københavns Film & Medie Skole i 1992. Gift med skuespillerinden Paprika Steen.
Rieks begyndte som tv-producer i B&U afdelingen på DR og lavede derefter tv-succeser som 'Åndernes Magt', 'På Kanten af Verden' og 'FC Zulu', før han i 2003 skiftede fra tv til film og begyndte som producer på Nordisk Film. Dannede i 2008 sit eget filmselskab Koncern Film og gik i samarbejde med Cosmo Film i 2011. I november 2012 vendte han med sit team tilbage til Nordisk Film med en række projekter.
Rieks har været producer på Asger Leths Haiti-dokumentar 'Ghosts of Cité Soleil' (2005), Tómas Gislasons cykelsportfilm 'Overcoming' (2005), Charlotte Sachs Bostrups familiefilm 'Karlas Kabale' (2007) og Martin P. Zandvliets tre spillefilm 'Applaus' (2009), 'Dirch' (2011) og 'Under Sandet' (2015), samt Paprika Steens 'Den tid på året' (2018).
