Christiansborg Slotscirkus

The Danish Parliament, the Folketing, is a circus. The members of the Folketing and the government are circus artists and public entertainers. They'll do anything to impress and entertain us with all their tricks and conjuring. Their costumes are gleaming and twinkling and everybody claps and laughs. The music is playing and there is a lovely smell of sawdust. One wonders when the elephants will arrive. Meet Lars Løkke Rasmussen, Bjarne Corydon, Morten Messerschmidt and Helle Thorning-Schmidt and all the other members of the Folketing and watch them make an exhibition of themselves in the circus ring.
