Danish Co-Productions in the Main Competition

The Danish Film Institute has provided support to two Nordic films competing for the Palme d'Or: the Swedish-Danish co-production ‘Eagles of the Republic’, directed by Tarik Saleh, and the Norwegian-Danish ‘Sentimental Value’ by Danish-born Joachim Trier.

Additionally, the French-Danish film ‘L'inconnu de la Grande Arche’ has been selected for Un Certain Regard. The film, starring Claes Bang and Sidse Babett Knudsen in leading roles, tells the story of the Danish architect behind the Arc de Triomphe in Paris.
