C. Claire Thomson is Professor of Cinema History at UCL, where she is currently the Director of the School of European Languages, Culture and Society and the Centre for Multidisciplinary and Intercultural Inquiry. Her major publications include 'Nordic Media Histories of Propaganda and Persuasion' (eds Norén, Stjernholm & Thomson, Palgrave Macmillan, 2022), 'A History of Danish Cinema' (eds Thomson, Thorsen & Chow, Edinburgh University Press, 2021), 'Short Films from a Small Nation: Danish Informational Cinema 1935-1965' (Edinburgh University Press, 2018), and 'Thomas Vinterberg’s Festen' (Museum Tusculanum Press, 2013).
