Nielsen

Nielsen is a portrait of the performance artist formerly known as Claus Beck-Nielsen and the project Das Beckwerk. During four episodes we follow the life of a man, who has declared himself dead and made his identity an artistic experiment. And we experience what happens when that artistic experiment interacts with the world.
We meet him at his own funeral, together with his daughter, at the police station, in the courtroom, followed by Egyptian police and when he has closed his life’s work and wonders what to do after surviving 10 years as a living dead.
