Kirstine Barfod

Producer. Born 1979. Graduated from the alternative film school Super16 in 2016 with the film 'Honey, Dont Quit Your Day Job'.

Barfod has worked as a producer and producer assistant since 2012. She made her feature documentary debut in 2012 with the music film 'Kidd Life' by Andreas Johnsen. Since then she has produced 'Venus' (2016), which was nominated for a Danish Bodil and Robert award for best documentary. Her third long documentary as a producer, 'The Cave' (2019) by Oscar-nominated Feras Fayyad, premiered at Toronto Film Festival where it won the audience award.
