In the lush bamboo forests of southern China, the young panda Pang lives in harmony with his best friend, the legendary dragon Jielong. But the idyll is shattered when Jielong is kidnapped and taken to distant Africa by a cunning baboon and a clumsy crocodile, sent on a mission to acquire a special birthday gift for the spoiled lion cub, King Ade.
Determined to save his friend, Pang embarks on a perilous journey, facing new friends as well as dangerous enemies. With the help of the clever monkey Jojo, Pang must find a way to free his friend before King Ade's wicked uncle exploits the dragon's powers to seize control of Africa.
