Julie Bille, Denmark, 2009

54 min.DK/Short fiction

24-year-old Bobby tries to save a peer, a young man's life. The dying tells Bobby that he was adopted as a child and has never seen his biological mother. Bobby seeks out the man's mother, Gudrun, and pretends to be her son. First she refuses Bobby, but admits her responsibility and invites Bobby to be a part of her family. Bobby is for first time in his life on the way to find the right place in his life, but with another mans identity. It is only a matter of time before he gets revealed. Only when it is too late, Bobby understands that he must be himself. No one else can make it out of his life. There is only him, to be Bobby.
