Meat

Søren Melson, Denmark, 1947

9 min.DK/Documentary

A description of the various cattle breeds in Denmark, showing how many products are obtained from a cow, - from glue, slippers, felt and medical preparations to food. The history of the cow is told from its life in the field to its end in the slaughterhouse, and until it finds its way to the butcher's counter. Some of the meat is exported, thus providing currency for the payment of imports.
