10-year-old Miga lives with his family on Mongolia's endless plains. His sister runs away from home, when the family is hit by disaster, and Miga decides to sneak on board the night train to the capital to search for her. In the big city he becomes friends with street kids. To survive in the cold weather Miga has to sleep with his new friends in the city sewers. His friends try to help him in the search for his missing sister, but they have to be careful not to be caught by the police.

Street kids from Mongolia's capital Ulaan Baatar play themselves in this dramatised documentary.
