Professor Georg Brandes at the University

Georg Brandes (1842-1927). Controversial and sharp cultural critic. Professor at the University of Copenhagen 1902. Brandes shaped a major part of the cultural debate in Denmark and abroad. His brother was Edward Brandes (1847-1934), co-founder of ’Politiken’, Chairman of the board 1884-1905, Editor in chief 1902-1905 and minister in the governments of Zahle. The film may have been shot in a studio.
