Star Houses

'Star Houses' follows a group of architects in the process of developing a prototype of a malaria-safe house in Tanzania, designed in collaboration with the local community, in an innovative attempt to secure the health of millions of people in sub-Saharan Africa. Inspired by Asian buildings, the architects develop a brand new type of sustainable home, which takes into account factors such as humidity and local access to building materials – but above all human well-being. Simple, but good ideas, which we see take shape and become creative solutions to something that has been a problem far too long. Screening with 'Gushegu Exile'.
