Director. Born 1983 in Sweden. Frida Barkfors graduated as fiction director from the National Film of Denmark in 2009.
Barkfors' first documentary, 'Pervert Park' (2014) directed with Lasse Barkfors, won the Special Jury Award for Impact at the Sundance Film Festival. The film is the first in a trilogy about social stigma. The second film in the trilogy, 'Death of a Child' (2017), made its world premiere at the Göteborg Film Festival and screened at CPH:DOX. 'Raising a School Shooter' (2021), which screened at CPH:DOX and IDFA, completed the trilogy.
