Born 1959, Denmark. Studied literature at Odense University, 1980-88. Writer, filmmaker, film reviewer. Commissioning editor at Statens Filmcentral (now the Danish Film Institute) in 1991. Has formed an informal partnership with Steen Møller Rasmussen since the early 1990s - producing a number of documentary films and publishing books.
