Rejected by the National film school and unable to afford private film schools, he decided to educate himself by working in the film industry in many fields, thereby learning different aspects of filmmaking. He then used the money he earned to finance his own short films, ultimately leading to his first feature, "Dark Samurai". Being the son of an American musician, he has a great passion for cinema and music, and if you ask him to describe his style in film, he likes it to be an "improvisational Jazz player in cinema." Lives in Copenhagen, Denmark.
