‘Palo’s Wedding’ with intro by Thomas C. Christensen. The 15 minutes introduction is in English.
Navarana, a young Inuit woman, takes care of her three brothers. She is more skilled than any other woman in the summer settlement at skinning seals and dressing skins, and her brothers, who are very proud of her, look forward with anxiety to the day when she must leave them to tend someone else's lard lamp. They are aware that she has turned her affections towards a man, but they do not yet know whether it is Palo or Samo, the young men of the settlement.
Look forward to a unique movie experience under the open sky in our new open air cinema, Himmelbio.
Himmelbio is located on the roof of Cinemateket, and here you can enjoy the movie with a view of Copenhagen right below you and the sky right above you.
The performance is outdoors, so dress according to the weather for the best experience.
Director: Friedrich Dalsheim
