På trods af en tragisk ulykke beslutter en gruppe venner sig for at afholde den årlige strandferie som planlagt. Deres indbyrdes forhold og personlige overbevisninger, skyldfølelse og hele essensen af venskab bliver sat på en hård prøve, da omstændighederne tvinger dem til at skulle stå til regnskab for alle de små, hvide løgne der er sluppet over læberne gennem årene.
