The man who wanted to be guilty

Ole Roos, Denmark, 1990

95 min.DK/Feature

In some strictly supervised society of the near-future, novelist Adam Gregor feels ill at ease. Official censorship keeps check on his every move. His wife is a conformist. In a fit of anger, he pushes her into a stairwell. Did he kill her? This brave new world does not acknowledge the concept of guilt, so how can Adam atone for his sin? And where is Kaminsky, Adam's publisher, who has gone into hiding?
