Puk Grasten's first feature "37" is selected for the Moscow International Film Festival's Competition programme.
The film is inspired by a true story set in 1964, New York, where several neighbors witness the brutal murder and rape of Kitty Genovese and do not intervene. The film peeks into the lives of three disparate families, the lonely neighbor and the doorman. We connect with the neighbors and understand their decisions not to act by following their day-to-day struggles. Inside their apartments the neighbors are dealing with their personal lives and conflicts the same way as they deal with witnessing a murder; if we don’t see, hear or talk about it, then it didn’t happen.

"37" is produced by Asger Hussain and Yaron Schwartzman for Regner Grasten Produktion and has received production funding from New Danish Screen, the Danish Film Institute's talent programme.
