Can the cinematic language be renewed? A documentary about the Danish artist collective ABCinema, which between 1968 and 1970 sought to unite the arts and formulate an early set of "dogma rules." The film includes interviews with founding members Jørgen Leth, Ole John, Per Kirkeby, and Bjørn Nørgaard, as well as clips from collective films such as 'Dyrehaven', 'Rødovre', 'Jens Otto Krag', 'Eftersøgningen', and others.

The documentary was produced by a group of students at Roskilde University in 2000 and later adapted at the DFI Film Workshop in 2009 for the release of Jørgen Leth’s experimental films in DVD box set no. 6 of 'The Jørgen Leth Collection' (Danish Film Institute, 2009).
