Three kids want to put on a circus performance and find shelter for their endeavor in an abandoned fire station now serving as residence for a strange and funny lady who lives there with a donkey and a parrot. Three shady characters, however, scheme to have the nice lady evicted. They want the property for a modern high-rise. The kids and the lady turn out to know a thing or two about center-scheming.
