Forbandelsen

A curse rests upon Johanna and her father, who lives in a small house in a village. Every night Johanna's father is haunted by nightmarish animals. To protect him from these animals, Johanna has arranged for her father to be locked up every night at bedtime inside metal grilles. Because of the noise and bustle of the animals, Johanna never sleeps properly, and she often falls asleep during school days. Johanna slowly realizes that it is an unsustainable situation, and when she meets and becomes friends with Elliot, the new boy in class, she finally gets the strength and confidence to lift the curse and win her freedom.
