Rubber Tarzan

Søren Kragh-Jacobsen, Denmark, 1981

89 min.DK/FeatureChildren's films

Based on Ole Lund Kirkegaard's book for children. Baroque stories about 8-year-old Ivan, who is mobbed at school and derided at home by his brawny father. Even if small of biceps, the boy possesses a fertile imagination. This, and the acquaintance of a philosophical harbour-front crane operator serve to make Ivan come out on top. A multiple award-winner both at home and at international festivals.
