Next Stop Sovjet

Prami Larsen, Denmark, 1991

52 min.DK/Documentary

In 1989, the Scandinavian youth campaign Next Stop sent 3.500 young people to Soviet. 15 video crews joined to tell their personal experiences from Brest, Tallin, Leningrad, Chernobyl, Semipalatinsk, Komi and Moscow. This video is both the story of Next Stop, the clash between Russian and Scandinavian cultures and a changing USSR, told in an expressive video style.
