A film about the Danish ballet star, Peter Martins. An examinstion of this man's art and what makes him unique and highly lauded on the international ballet stage. The film is shot in New York City Ballet, and among the other performers are the international ballet names: Suzanne Farrell, Georges Ballanchine and Jerome Robbins. The film tells about Peter Martins's work with himself in the training room - alone or with his colleagues. It shows extracts from various ballets, and it shows Peter Martins as a ballet director.
