Snart kommer tiden

Christian Dyekjær, Denmark, 2006

41 min.DK/Short fiction

»Soon the time will come« is a surreal tale of a married couple, Hilbert and Rebekka, and their seven-year-old son Granberg. On Rebekka's 35th birthday, the parents send their son on a boy-scout trip while they celebrate with an idyllic picnic in the woods. Returning home, they find their now 57-year-old son waiting with flowers and a gift. Fifty years have gone by without anyone noticing. Hilbert and Rebekka are forced to face the life they have led, their unfulfilled dreams and neglected love.
