The Sleeping Beauty

Jytte Rex, Kirsten Justesen, Denmark, 1971

19 min.DK/Experimental

A feminist film produced in close co-operation between women who - through situations chosen by themselves for the film - partly step out of their anonymous rôle-playing and partly disclose identities that are survivors of all the oppressive tendencies of a normative society. A film about yearning. Women will live on and survive all bloodsheds and they know that with security the culminations will level out.
