Tanja Wol Sørensen's short doc "Moving Target" will enjoy its world premiere in the festival's short competition.

The film is about Ruby, a middle-aged human rights defender in Colombia. Ruby is a busy, but lonely lady, who lives with armed protection and spends most of her days in the back seat of a car, yet she stubbornly continues her work. Ruby has paid a high price for speaking up for the civilian victims in one of the longest-running conflicts in the world. "Moving Target" aims to give an intimate look at the human consequences the Colombian conflict has had, and continues to have, on the civilians who live and die in it.

The film is produced by Rikke Tambo Andersen for Bullitt Film with support from the Film Workshop.

Emil Langballe and Lukasz Konopas "The Accidental King" is one of the 16 projects selected to pitch at Hot Docs Forum. The film follows a Ghanaian immigrant’s journey from living humbly as a warehouse worker in Denmark to inheriting a kingdom in rural Ghana. The film is produced by Mathilde Lippmann for Made in Copenhagen.

"Death of A Child" by Final Cut for Real and "Dream Empire" by House of Reel are selected for Hot Docs Deal Maker, a one-on-one pitch-meeting program for producers seeking financing from the international marketplace.
