The Sundance Film Festival has announced their line-up for the World Cinema Documentary Competition. Among the twelve titles to compete is Berit Madsen's "Sepideh" which will enjoy its North American premiere at the festival.

Berit Madsen made seven trips to Iran to get together with Sepideh and her family and film them with the aid of an Iranian crew. "Sepideh" is the filmmaker’s most wide-ranging film project to date, a coming-of-age story about a very special young woman fighting against all odds to make her dream come true of becoming an astronaut and probing the secrets of the universe.
