Teddy Bear and The Ambassador to NYC

FESTIVAL. Mads Matthiesen and Mads Brügger have been invited to the prestigious New Directors/New Films Film Festival in New York City (21 March-1 April).

"Teddy Bear" by Mads Matthiesen and "The Ambassador" by Mads Brügger will be presented at the 41st installment of the New Directors/New Films Film Festival, which kicks off Wednesday March 21st. Both directors are in New York and will attend the screenings for Q&As.

Since "Teddy Bear"'s Directing Award at Sundance Film Festival and "The Ambassador"'s world premiere at IDFA, both films have received fine critical acclaim and are in great demand at international festivals. The North American rights to "Teddy Bear" have just been acquired by Film Movement, and the film will open at New York City's Film Forum on 22 August.

The highly acclaimed non-competitive New Directors/New Films Film Festival is presented jointly by the Film Society of Lincoln Center and the Museum of Modern Art and introduces New Yorkers to new talents from around the world. The event offers 29 features (24 narrative, five documentaries) and 12 short films from 28 countries.
