ABOUT INTER:ACTIVE SYMPOSIUM
As the participants of our CPH:LAB 2021/2022 are ready to present the prototypes of the works they have been developing over the past six months, it is appropriate to consider together the cultural landscape into which these works will emerge.
This year, we will host the first physical INTER:ACTIVE SYMPOSIUM where we will bring together a cross-section of festival delegates, artists, curators, funders and distributors across film, games, theatre, fine art and XR, in dedicated roundtable conversations about the landscape of immersive media and the issues that are shaping our creative endeavours. The results of these conversations will be presented at the Symposium.
At the heart of the Symposium are the CPH:LAB participants and their projects. The 9 CPH:LAB projects and teams will be presented at the Symposium, followed-up by a Prototype Pop-Up exhibition. CPH:LAB is CPH:DOX’s talent development programme that encourages creative risk taking, celebrates raw talent, facilitates collaboration across borders and business sectors and supports visionaries to push the existing boundaries of documentary filmmaking.
