105 min.DK/FeatureDrama, MelodramaSilent films

Eric "Anker" Ankerstjærne and his wife are like night and day. One day, the gap between the couple becomes too wide – Naomi, who is a passionate violinist, skips town, leaving him alone with their daughter. When a new and surprising woman, the maid Artemis, bursts into his life, Anker’s luck starts to turn. However, only for a while – as the daughter soon follows in her mother’s footsteps and runs away to pursue art! Anker tracks her down to Paris and finds both his daughter and his lost love. But will fate play another trick on him before it’s all over?
