Children's film adapted from a short story by Martin A. Hansen. On a warm summer's day at the beginning of the fifties four children set out to seek adventure, which develops into the searching for an ostrich! The children are brought even further into the border district between imagination and reality. In the children's imagination many things happen - in reality everyday life has not been changed.
