Born 1963, France. Graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Lyon, 1986. Since, he has worked on animated commercials, with commissions including Renault, Astra Zeneca, Garnier and French television.
Has experimented with many different techniques, not only in animation but also in live action film and design, and enjoys combining "paintbrush and mouse" - handicraft and computer technology. "23 Rue des Martyrs" (1997) is made up of acrylic and oil print on paper, and for "Stranger Blues" (2003), Perez uses computer animation. "Shaman" (2008), a tribute to Inuit culture, consists of over 7,000 drawings by hand and is a mix of acrylic on paper and 2D computer animation.
