Fortsættelse af King Kong filmen fra 1976 som endte med at King Kong faldt ned fra World Trade Center i New York og tilsyneladende var død. Men nu bliver han genoplivet ved en hjertetransplantation, hvortil der skal bruges litervis af blod. Det fås fra en kvindelig kæmpeabe. Efter operationen flygter King Kong og Lady Kong og snart er der en Baby Kong på vej.
