56 min.DK/Documentary

In the documentary "Suitable" we follow a group of Burmese fugitives who are living illegally in Kuala Lumpur and whose only hope for a future is a new life in Europe. The film gives a unique view of the fugitives' background and reality. We follow them through the crucial interviews and various examinations by the delegation from the Danish Immigration Service. We follow them as they take their leave of all they have ever known and as they enter into a new life on Danish soil. We join them in their dreams and wishes for the future in Denmark. Their fear of being rejected, the uncertainty of the future, their wish to be safe and most of all - to make their children safe.
