Gina Jaqueline is 26 years old when she agrees to take part in a TV documentary series about her experiences with sugar dating. The film, following Gina over two years before, during and after the series, is about a young woman who encounters a love she has never known before. The film is also a story about a special kind of family life and about a woman who has learnt to handle life her own way, but is forced to re-evaluate everything when love is suddenly pulled away from under her feet as she becomes a public figure.
The film is Sofie Lange Jørgensen's first long documentary, a universal story about losing yourself when you fall in love and are prepared to go to any length to save it.
