Damsbo founded the company Makropol in 2011, focused on new technologies and immersive film experiences such as virtual reality.
He has produced a number of virtual reality films including 'Ewa' (2016), selected for Cannes Film Festival, 'Doom Room' (2018), 'Taste of Hunger' (2020), selected for Venice Film Festival, and 'End of Night' (2021), which won an award at Venice Film Festival. He is also behind artificial intelligence projects such as 'Artificial Awakening' (2021), which was selected for IDFA, and 'Kaspar' (2021).
