Rasmus Birch

(1977 – )

Screenwriter. Born 1977, Denmark. Self-taught screenwriter with a B.A. in Film Studies, Copenhagen University.

Birch has written the short films 'The Interview' and 'A Blind Angle'. 'Brotherhood' (2010) is his feature film debut as a screenwriter. The film won the main prize at Rome Film Festival. He since wrote the screenplays for Jonas Alexander Arnby's feature films 'When Animals Dream' (2014) and 'Suicide Tourist' (2019). The first was selected for Critics' Week at Cannes.

He also wrote, directed and produced the short film 'Jinx' (2008), selected for Seoul International Youth Film Festival.
