OFF THE RECORD is a journalistic crime series about a group of investigative journalists. Liv and her team of journalists are desperate to find a high-profile story, that can save their in-depth news format, Focal Point, from being cancelled. An anonymous tip points their attention to the newly built prison, Gaudehøj. Using a mole to get inside, they discover that a group of inmates are kept prisoners in a secret ward under circumstances that strongly conflict with basic human rights. As they close in on who is responsible, they must all face the consequences of disclosing the truth.
